SNOB SHOP is the label for music by Laura Crapo, formerly known as Laura Borealis. Releases from across her catalogue will be collected here.

Laura Borealis was a childhood nickname given to Laura Hyde Crapo by her maternal grandfather, Thayer Baldwin of Hull, Massachusetts. Laura adopted the name professionally in 1988 and worked as Laura Borealis until 2010.

Her music, films, photography, and music-video work from this period—including projects with Sebadoh, Thrush Hermit, and other artists—may therefore be credited to Laura Borealis.

Since 2010, she has worked under her own name, Laura Crapo.

Laura Crapo and Laura Borealis are the same artist.
